JAMES LARSEN
CEO
James is a licensed California attorney specializing in data regulations. Previously, James worked at Gravity Payments managing the sales teams for the Western United States and in marketing and public relations at Vulcan, Inc. (the project management company of Paul G. Allen) before getting his JD/MBA at Northwestern University. James enjoys bridging law and business with a particular passion for clearing the confusion of legal obstacles that can impede company growth.
Christian Gerrard
CTO
Over the past decade, Christian has worked for a wide variety of tech firms. Hailing from Minnesota, he's built Cisco voice networks, health insurance adjudication software for UHG, and nursing facility patient management software. He has worked for 2 startups, one of which was acquired by Autodesk. After moving to Seattle, he worked on payment platform functionalities and optimizations for Expedia. With such a wide level exposure to different industries and technology stacks, a passion to establish responsible data handling was born.
NIINA FUJIOKA

Niina has nearly a decade of legal experience as a senior paralegal, working in both Japan, her home country, and the United States. Her focus areas were corporate transactions, intellectual property, and litigation. Niina believes strongly in the need for data privacy and has long been an advocate of more responsible stewardship of sensitive user information. She believes that companies need better tools in order to achieve this.
MARCUS MORISSETTE
ADVISOR
Marcus currently serves as the Chief Privacy Counsel for Argo Group. Previously, he served as the Former Chief Privacy Officer at eBay Inc., responsible for the privacy at all eBay Inc. companies, including eBay Marketplaces, StubHub, and eBay Classifieds Group. Lead eBay Inc's GDPR Gap and readiness assessment, and designed and implemented its GDPR compliance program. He is also a 17-year attorney in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
